Child Abuse Report

Author's Note

     Included within the following text are vivid descriptions of beating, injury, sexual acts, and other facets of the grotesque world of child abuse. Also depicted within are photocopies of graphic actual photographs of abuse victims, some of which are autopsy photos of babies and children.

     I must say that I was horrified the first time that I saw them. That any human being could do the things clearly shown in these pictures to another human being is almost unbelievable. To think that anyone - regardless of their "state of mind" - could do these things to a child is inconceivable. It's totally unforgivable.

     That's a part of the problem: we don't want to believe that child abuse is taking place every minute of every day. Instinctively, we want to "blow away" the abuser, but at the same time, we want to just turn our backs and deny that abuse exists. It's such a terrible problem that we "just want it to go away."

     Let me make this clear: I feel it is absolutely necessary to include everything that has been included here in order to demonstrate the full impact of the horror and brutality of these crimes. No, it won't "just go away." And, for many "survivors" of it, the torment will never subside from their thoughts. Their innocence is robbed; their souls murdered.

     The content of this subject is deeply disturbing; the pictures are blatant; the language abrasive, and in some cases (particularly in some of the direct quotes) is obscene.

     It is in this light that I forewarn anyone who may be sensitive to matters such as these: they should probably avoid viewing the material herein.
